Michelle Marchesseault was born in 1974 in Indianapolis, Indiana and began studying painting at the Heron School of Art. Location and context are the key elements of Michelle's work incorporating aspects of interior design with contemporary concepts. Her site-specific paintings reside in private art collections, residences of collectors, as well as public and retail spaces. Michelle has an extensive multidisciplinary background in production design, film and television, performance art, music and theater. Michelle currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
